Gemini Specialty Optics offer a comprehensive range of gas cells
suitable for all types of FTIR spectrometers. The product range includes
fixed and variable path length cells covering the range 10 cm to 100
metres. Sample concentrations from percentage levels to parts per billion
levels can be measured using the appropriate cell, FTIR instrument scanning
parameters and detector options.
Cell
bodies may be glass, aluminium or stainless steel depending on the sample
components. Standard optical coatings are multi-layered dielectric bare
gold, a highly durable and highly reflective surface. Alternative coatings
include protected silver, protected gold and aluminium.
Cell volume may be minimised for flowing gas stream analysis
and heating jackets are available to avoid sample condensation.
