Fiveash Data Management (FDM) provide digital libraries (databases)
of FTIR spectra formatted for use with proprietary library search programs.
Such programs are used off-line with spectroscopy software such as Thermo
Informatics GRAMS AI and with most PC controlled FTIR spectrometers.
Library search software provides name, peak and full spectrum searching
and is the most popular method of utilising databases of FTIR spectra.
The FDM Electronic Handbook provides fast access to over 6000 condensed
phase and over 5000 vapor phase FTIR spectra. Users can search spectra
in JCAMP format, by chemical names or page through the handbook spectra,
using it as a spectral atlas. Full spectrum searching is performed with
a choice of four search algorithms. The search features are designed
for easy and rapid use of the software. All spectra in the FDM Electronic
Handbook are available for use with FTIR systems.
FDM is an authorized distributor for the NIST / EPA / NIH Mass Spectral
Library, the Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data, 7th edition, the
John Wiley and Sons Chemical Concepts FTIR spectra (these include the
Hummel Polymers and Hummel Surfactants collections) and two collections
of proton NMR spectra.
FDM is also an authorized distributor of the Aldrich and IChem ATR
/ FTIR Spectra.
